• National Public Radio   The only thing worth listening to on the radio can be heard over the internet.  Don't forget to inform your congressmen/women that you are appalled by current efforts to remove government funding for this invaluable voice.  Less than $2 of your annual taxes are necessary to pay for NPR.
• PBS Same as above, except this is really the only decent thing on television (baseball notwithstanding).  Contact the senators from Florida Connie Mack and Bob Graham indicating your support for these invaluable non-commercial public resources.  Of course, they probably don't read your email unless you include an e-contribution exceeding my current student loan debt (which is substantial).
